The Berkeley College women's basketball team put forth a 1-2 record in recent contests, as the Knights dropped games to the University of Maine-Augusta (83-47 on November 14) and Central Maine Community College (83-39 on November 15) before defeating Pratt Institute (50-38 on November 22). With that aforementioned output, Berkeley is now 1-4 on the 2025-2026 campaign.
November 14, 2025: Moose 83, Knights 47
Despite Berkeley's loss to the University of Maine-Augusta, Aliyah Carroll put together a strong performance for the visitors, posting team-bests of 22 points (5-6 FT) and eight rebounds. Ariella Johnson added 13 points, five rebounds, and a game-high three blocks, and Anastasia Davis finalized her evening with seven points, four rebounds, and a pair of assists.
The Moose were paced by Sage Fortin, as she scored a game-high 24 points (8-15 FG) while collecting five rebounds and swiping a pair of steals. Emilee Brown put together a quality 22-minute performance, scoring 18 points while connecting on five triples. She also dished four assists and contributed three steals. Bella Petrocci finished her evening with 12 points, four dimes, three rebounds, and two steals, and Annabelle Morris' nine assists led all players.
There wasn't much scoring in the opening 4:37 of action, with the only buckets coming courtesy of a pair of three-point baskets by Petrocci and Brown to give the Moose an early 6-0 advantage. Carroll's bucket with 5:03 left in the period got Berkeley on the board, but a triple apiece by Fortin and Brown, and consecutive hoops by Arianna Bradeen put the University of Maine at Augusta up 16-2. The Moose led 27-8 after one.
The Moose's stellar defense held Berkeley to 13 points in each of the ensuing three quarters, while the team's offense continued to pile on points. The hosts scored 56 points over the final 30 minutes of action, connecting on 11 triples in the process in what became a dominant win for the University of Maine at Augusta.
The University of Maine at Augusta connected on 41.4 percent of its attempts from the floor (29-70), while Berkeley earned a conversion rate of just 26.6 percent (17-64). The Moose held a 45-35 edge on the glass, while also dishing 26 assists compared to 12 for the Knights. The Moose held a slim 8-7 edge in steals, while Berkeley swatted seven shots compared to three for the University of Maine at Augusta. The Moose narrowly won the turnover battle, committing 13 miscues, while the Knights had 14.
November 15, 2025: Mustangs 83, Knights 39
Davis and Arianna Wilder tied for Berkeley's team-high of eight points, with Davis snatching six rebounds, and Wilder collecting three. Johnson added seven points, and Davian Myers netted six points while snatching a game-best nine boards. Finally, it was Nyeira Spady finalizing her evening with eight rebounds and team-highs of three assists and three steals.
Hunter Hartsgrove led the way for the victorious Mustangs, as she scored a team-high 15 points on the day. Additionally, Caitlyn McCoy registered 12 points, three rebounds, and two assists, and Anais Balla Zambo finished with 10 points and four rebounds.
Berkeley College held the lead for all of 15 seconds in this contest (A 1-0 edge) on Johnson's converted free throw, but it was all Mustangs after that. Central Maine scored 10 straight points following Johnson's conversion (the run started with consecutive hoops by Cassie Ririnui, and was capped by Kennedy Lampert's jumper). The Mustangs led by nine at that point, and held an 11-point edge (17-6) following one quarter of action.
In the second quarter, the hosts used runs of 7-0 and 5-1 to continue to pull further away from Berkeley, as the Mustangs held a commanding 33-15 edge at the break.
The Mustangs dominated the third quarter, outscoring Berkeley 30-11 in the period. Central Maine Community College knocked down three trifectas in the quarter, while also connecting on seven of nine attempts from the stripe. The Knights also committed eight of their 38 turnovers in the third. The hosts led 63-26 after three quarters, and eventually put Berkeley away in the fourth to snatch the win.
Central Maine Community College connected on 38.7 percent of its attempts from the floor (29-75), while Berkeley earned a conversion rate of just 28.6 percent (12-42). The Moose held a commanding 49-30 edge on the glass, while also dishing 28 assists compared to 10 for the Knights. The hosts held a sizeable 24-11 edge in steals, while Berkeley swatted three shots compared to two for Central Maine. The Mustangs also won the turnover battle, committing 26 miscues, while the Knights had 38.
November 22, 2025: Knights 50, Cannoneers 38
Wilder led the way for Berkeley College in the Knights' first victory of the 2025-2026 season, as she scored a team-high 11 points while snatching five rebounds and dishing three assists. Carroll added nine points and eight rebounds, and Spady and Johnson scored seven points apiece, with Spady snatching a team-high 13 rebounds, posting game-highs of five steals and five blocked shots, and registering two assists, and Johnson finishing with nine boards, three assists, and three steals. Finally, it was Myers completing her afternoon with six points and seven boards.
Despite the loss for the Cannoneers, Anabela Jakelic put forth a tremendous performance, recording game-highs of 15 points and 22 rebounds. She also added two assists and a pair of steals. Kylie Grant finished with eight points, 13 rebounds, and a team-high four steals, and Miga Higa contributed six points.
The Knights shot just 19 percent in the first quarter, and found themselves trailing 10-7 after the opening 10 minutes of action.
The second period featured some seesaw action between the squads, as a converted triple by Wilder tied the contest at 12 apiece with 8:26 to go until halftime. Pratt took the lead back 2:03 later on a drained jumper by Grant, but the Knights responded with a 7-1 over the ensuing 2:23 to take a 19-15 edge. That aforementioned run featured three points by Carroll, and two apiece by Wilder and Davis. Pratt then scored four straight points to tie the game when Jakelic made consecutive jumpers. The teams then traded single buckets inside the final two minutes of the session (Aliyah Smith accounting for Berkeley's basket, and Grant registering Pratt's), as the teams headed into the locker room at halftime in a 21-21 deadlock.
The third quarter saw the two squads combine for just 15 points. Berkeley went up by as many as five in the period (26-21) before eventually carrying a slim 30-27 edge into the fourth quarter.
Berkeley found its shooting touch in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Cannoneers 20-11. A 3-pointer by Wy-Asia Montgomery with 3:45 remaining ballooned the Berkeley advantage to 43-33, and the Knights yielded just one more Pratt field goal the rest of the way to secure the 12-point victory.
Neither team shot well from the floor, with Berkeley connecting on just 19 of 73 attempts from the floor (26 percent), and Pratt draining just 20.9 percent of its shots (14-67). The Knights held slim edges in the rebounding (57-55) and assists (11-10) departments, and Berkeley also swiped 16 steals to the Cannoneers' 12. The Knights swatted seven shots to Pratt's two, and Berkeley won the turnover battle, committing 22 miscues, while the Cannoneers had 24.

Berkeley will return to action on Monday afternoon, as the Knights will travel to Sharon, PA to take on Penn State Shenango. Start-time for the contest is scheduled for 4:30pm.
